The Elora BESS projects estimated cost of $11+ million consists of stripping/cutting/removing 86,000+ m3 of native fill, importing and placing 80,000+ m3 of engineered fill, excavating and backfilling for 180+ km worth of cable installations, critically detailed drainage system installation including clay liners, hydroseeding, subdrain installation, manholes, and steel CSP risers, retaining wall excavation and installation, and minor works for 230 foundations inclusive of excavation, insulation, concrete placement and backfill totaling 195+ m3 of concrete.
